In order to be able to help more people with their personal issues, I am in the process of creating some guided self-hypnosis cds that will be able to be purchased on-line in the near future. You will also be able to purchase some wonderful books that come highly recommended. Also, I would like to recommend, for great inpiration for yourself or others, go to www.walkthetalk.com. There are some fabulous motivational movies and books with spectacular nature scenes. I particularly enjoy the "Power of Attitude" which I have recently added to my personal collection.

We all want success, happiness and good health in the new year and many of us make resolutions to quit smoking, lose weight, control stress or to make other positive life changes but following through with these intentions is typically short-lived. Most people, in fact, have given up on their goals within a few weeks of the new year.

In order for change to be long-lasting it is necessary to be rooted in the subconscious mind - that powerful part of the mind that is the storehouse of all memories, and controls all habits and emotions. Once tasks are mastered or habits are made they become automatic. You don't have to think about how to drive, walk or even smoke (if you're a smoker) - these are done without conscious thinking....automatically.

Unfortunately, habitual behavious are difficult to break using willpower alone. However, HYPNOTHERAPY is very effective in reprogramming the subconscious mind and achieving positive change. In hypnosis, the brain waves slow down, the conscious mind is relaxed and the subconscious mind is at the forefront and receptive to beneficial suggestions.

To achieve lasting results with your goals for 2008, using the power of your inner mind with hypnotherapy will enable you to lose weight, quit smoking, control stress or whatever other habits that now control you.

       Wishing you Health, Success and Happiness in 2008

Stress is a part of everyone's life today and we often find ourselves stretching beyond our means to meet the demands on us. The balancing act between the professional and personal world can be taxing to most of us and in a lot of cases this constant balancing has led people to serious health problems. Burn-outs, nervous breakdowns, and hearth problems are all reaults of this ever present stress.

Why are we all so stressed? Why have the percentages of health problems related to stress shot up so drastically in recent years? And what can we do to help ourselves?

Hypnotherapy for stress management is very effective.

Stress is a debilitating feeling. It can lead to anxiety attacks and it can provoke anger. It takes a toll on our health and our relationships. Stress leads people to have emotional outbursts and overactions more often than they imagine. Everyone wants to relieve themselves of the stress they face. You might have even tried yoga classes or kick boxing to releieve the stress, but found out that it only cures the problem temporarily. If you are looking for a more permanent solution to your stress problems,Hypnotheray could be the answer.

Hypnotherapy helps you soothe your senses. Through techniques like visualization, a person is taught to be calm and relaxed, which can help you a great deal when dealing with a stressful situation. Stress has the power to lead to confused thinking. Hypnotherapy will help you get back on track and clear your mind of all the haze. Hypnotherapy teaches you to reach a comfortable state whenever faced witha stressful situation. The result is a calm you facing stressful situations with ease.

Hypnotherapy helps you manage stress in your life and as a result, improves your overall health and well-being.

http://www.hypnotherapycentre.ca/blog I have just returned from my 4th annual NGH Hypnosis Educational Conference in Marlborough, MA. It is always inspiring to learn new techniques, strategies and related healing methods to help clients improve their lives in many ways and to network with other hypnotherapists. Having access to a multitude of CD's, books etc. to add to my already extensive collection, is a bonus.

In order to assist others in life improvement by utilizing that internal power we all have,I have decided to begin my blog. --

It's important to WATCH your THOUGHTS and WATCH your WORDS.

Thoughts are energy and you want yours to be positive!. Also, be careful how you talk to yourself. The subconscious mind - that powerhouse within you that controls the majority of your behaviours, is based on subconscious programming from your past. This inner mind simply REACTS to what has been programmed by what you say to yourself repeatedly and
what others have programmed into it.
Therefore, program yourself for success with positive thoughts and words. Expect the best!

  Watch your WORDS;
           they become ACTIONS.
  Watch your ACTIONS;
           they become HABITS.
  Watch your HABITS;
           they become CHARACTER.
  Watch your CHARACTER;
           it becomes your DESTINY.
